yapyep is gebouwd rond een simpele privacyhouding: je dilemma's voelen persoonlijk, dus ze verlaten nooit je apparaat. Het model dat de bende laat ruziën draait volledig in je browser. Op deze pagina staat wat we wel en niet verzamelen.
Wat op je apparaat blijft
Het dilemma dat je typt, de comicstrip die de bende maakt en elk verdict worden lokaal gegenereerd door een taalmodel in de browser. Geen van die teksten gaat naar een server — niet die van ons, en niet die van iemand anders. Afgezien van de site zelf zijn de enige dingen die je browser van het netwerk haalt de modelgewichten — anonieme statische bestanden — en de cookieloze bezoekersteller van Cloudflare, die hieronder wordt beschreven.
Scripts van derden
yapyep gebruikt geen Google Analytics, geen advertenties en geen trackingscripts. Het enige script van derden is de cookieloze bezoekersteller van Cloudflare: die telt bezoeken geaggregeerd, slaat niets op je apparaat op en kan je niet identificeren.
Wat lokaal wordt opgeslagen
yapyep gebruikt geen cookies. Je lichte of donkere thema en de inktkleuren die je kiest voor je stempels worden opgeslagen in de localStorage van je browser, en de modelgewichten worden door de runtime gecached zodat het volgende bezoek meteen werkt. Niets daarvan verlaat je apparaat.

Purposes and legal bases
Hosting and security: Cloudflare processes technical data from each visit (IP address, browser, requested page) to serve the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookieless statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without any visitor identifier. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how many people use the site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site uses no other analytics tool and shows no advertising.
Messages: if you write to contact@yapyep.com, your address and the content of your message are used only to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and international transfers
No data is shared with third parties unless the law requires it. The following process data on the owner's behalf: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security and statistics) and IONOS SE (email). Cloudflare may process data in the United States and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The language model's files are downloaded directly from Hugging Face, Inc. (United States), which receives your IP address when serving them and processes it under its own privacy policy (huggingface.co/privacy). Nothing you type is ever sent to it.
Retention
Technical data is kept only for the short period Cloudflare needs to provide the service, and messages for as long as needed to reply to you and for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to contact@yapyep.com. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use cookies. It keeps your light or dark theme and any custom colours you choose in your browser's local storage (localStorage), and caches the language model's files so your next visit is faster. None of this leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
